Freifeld: LOVEDANCIN’ with Louie Vega (6-Hour Extended Set)
LOVEDANCIN’ began with a simple love for music. Its founder Tom Kutsche started throwing parties in Cologne at the age of 17, long before eventually moving to Berlin and starting LOVEDANCIN’.
A defining moment came in 2016, when Tom travelled to Paris to hear Louie Vega play an eight-hour set. That night became a major inspiration for the kind of parties he wanted to create. Long musical journeys across genres, open-minded and diverse dancefloors, and a deep connection through music.
And few artists represent that spirit quite like Louie Vega. A defining figure in House Music for more than three decades, the Grammy-winning New Yorker is one half of the legendary Masters At Work alongside Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez and the driving force behind Elements of Life. So when Louie played for LOVEDANCIN’ for the first time in 2023, it was more than just another booking. What began as a musical inspiration years earlier developed into an ongoing connection and friendship, with Louie becoming a special part of the LOVEDANCIN’ story.
On December 12, that story continues at Open Ground: Louie Vega returns to LOVEDANCIN’ for a special six-hour extended set, joined by Tom.
