Philipp Wehr aka Akademixer is a Mönchengladbach based DJ and Producer. His musical world moves between ambient, dub, bass and experimental electronic music – always with a strong focus on atmosphere, space and the feeling of the moment. As a resident of Callshop Radio, Akademixer hosts the monthly Yoga Session together with his buddy Ha2unke. Their show explores the space between ambient, downtempo, dub and bass music – music for listening, drifting, dancing, or simply getting lost in the sound. He is also part of the local dub culture, hosting a monthly Dub Session at Nonsense Bar in Mönchengladbach together with friends and the JahWahBoom Soundsystem. For Akademixer, a DJ set is less about sticking to a genre and more about creating a journey. Expect deep bass, warm dub textures, spacious ambient passages and hypnotic rhythms.

Pinaw plays house and related sounds, with a focus on groove and movement. Coming from house dance, she is part of House Roots Crew and organizes the House Roots party series. Her approach to DJing is tied to house dance culture and its roots, shaped through sessions, battles, club nights and community spaces across NRW. Her sets are dancefloor-focused, moving through deep, driving and percussion-led sounds.

Foudjo, a DJ and producer with Congolese roots, blending the rhythms of Batida, Deephouse, and UK Funky House in my sets. Based in Dortmund, I am part of the Barulho World collective, where I strive to highlight the rich and diverse possibilities of Afro-electronic music. Since 2022, I have been working closely with Omar Jatta, an emerging Afrobeats artist from Germany, crafting fresh sounds and innovative collaborations. As the curator of a guest mix series on SoundCloud and the head of Barulho Records, I aim to create a platform that encourages listeners to explore and embrace the vibrant world of Afrocentric/ Afroelectronic music.
