FREIFELD — Key Vinyl at Open Ground

Beste HiraAmsterdam
Beste Hira is an Istanbul-born, Amsterdam-based artist operating at the intersection of rolling, minimal techno and experimental sound. Classically trained, her sets are marked by a refined sense of structure, texture and control; where she moves fluidly between groove-led rhythms and ambient abstraction. A regular at Berghain since 2022 and a key fixture within the Amsterdam scene, she has steadily established herself as a distinctive and uncompromising voice within the contemporary underground.
ToobrisBerlin
Toobris grew up in Munich and later moved to Stuttgart for studies, also spending time in Berlin and Amsterdam. The vibrant musical scenes in these cities played a key role in shaping his sound. Known for embracing randomness, his tracks feature unpredictable elements that come together cohesively when heard as a whole. Toobris’ music is soulful, groovy, and bouncy, with basslines that have rhythmic quality that invites movement, complemented by crisp hi-hats and rich percussive textures. With a minimalist approach and a focus on sound design, Toobris creates a unique sonic landscape that feels both intricate, captivating and sure to make you dance.
Freddy KBerlin
Freddy K: techno activist. Since the ‘90s Alessio Armeni has been tireless campaigning from the dancefloor, defending vinyl, championing young talents and reinforcing the scene from the shadows. You will know him best for his marathon DJ sets and deviant selections. Freddy K sets are characteristically mercurial and 100% tailored for the dance. He plays a “360°-style of techno,” which can include Soft Cell, WestBam or Bronski Beat—when the timing is just right.

ANNEX — Ivory at Open Ground

scherwin hosseiniDortmund
Scherwin Hosseini is an independent curator, community organizer, and founder of BLENDHAUS* — a space for culture, creative collaboration, and community in Germany’s Ruhr region. Their work focuses on interdisciplinary projects, creative education formats, and amplifying queer and marginalized perspectives. As a DJ, they play a mix of heavy bass and SWANA-infused rhythms, guided by the mood and atmosphere of the moment rather than fixed genres.
BIMGelsenkirchen
BIM discovered his passion for electronic dance music at an early age when he sneaked into clubs using his friends’ IDs. During his brief trip into producing, he realized that selecting and compiling listenable music fulfills him the most. Expect a mix of bass, breaks, and technoid stuff, preferably played on vinyl and always ready for a change in form. Rooted in the Ruhr region, he is part of the collectives Ivory and Baracke.
JanuarBochum
Coco CobraHannover
Coco Cobra is a DJ shaped by movement—between places, sounds, and the the ongoing process of learning her practice. Born in China and raised in Hannover, she explores the spaces between bass, breaks, and leftfield rhythms, blending them with a curious touch. Her sets are less about pushing boundaries than about listening closely and letting the music evolve, one transition at a time. Drawing from multiple geographies and influences, she approaches club culture as an open, continually shifting landscape, inviting dancers into a sound that grows with her.
