Paul, also known as Augustus, was born in Wuppertal and is deeply rooted in the local music scene. For him, vinyl is far more than just a medium – it is the way he understands DJing. Not out of nostalgia, but out of conviction. He sees playing with records as a conscious and deliberate process that goes far beyond simply mixing tracks: from constantly discovering new music and carefully curating his record collection to connecting different subgenres into a coherent and immersive whole. With every set, he aims to contribute to keeping the culture of vinyl DJing alive.
His sound moves between hypnotic, minimalistic techno and organic sonic landscapes. Warm textures meet precise, bleep-driven sounds and machine-like rhythms, creating an atmosphere in which individual elements merge together like a living organism. Augustus views his sets as a continuous journey, where groove, tension, and atmosphere always remain at the center.
