FREIFELD

Josey RebelleLondon
The Tottenham London born-and-bred selector grew up on soul and reggae, later becoming a dedicated junglist. First as a resident DJ at the legendary London club Plastic People, she’s built a rep as one of the most effective and interesting DJs around. Playing shape-shifting, genre-bending sets that effortlessly move from classic rare groove and disco records to upfront house and techno, via garage, jungle and whatever else she feels like. With no social media presence, Josey’s reputation is based on selection, passion and authenticity.

Juliana HuxtableNew York
Using the structures of music as mediums in her multi-media universe, Juliana Huxtable is a DJ and musician singular in her approach. Where her visual art and poetry navigate the complexification of desire in a life increasingly mediated by technology, her music utilizes the sounds of technology itself to construct parallel realities to be inhabited and embodied in rhythm and harmonic tableaux. Her sets skillfully deploy the notion of sampling and re-blogging as DJ strategies, ecstatically mixing an array of influences that frolic at the boundary of genre-intuition and experimentation. At once an assertion of freedom and an ode to the evolutionary structure of electronic music subcultures, she aspires to the sublime in what can often only be described as witchcraft behind the decks; seance from the stage.

ANNEX — Ballett at Open Ground

C. CoiffureRennes
Christian Coiffure is an enigmatic artist steadily making his mark on the European electronic scene, with standout releases on the adventurous labels Comic Sans Records and Worst Records, as well as remixes for internationally renowned artists such as Tatyana Jane and Anastasia Kristensen. A member of the useless seconds label and collective, he refuses to be defined by any single genre, playfully blending styles and tempos while shaping a sound that fuses forward-thinking design, twisted club motifs, and driving grooves. Drawn from years of deep listening and analysis of electronic music, he aspires to shape the sonic landscape of tomorrow by bending and reinterpreting the aesthetics that inspire him. Christian Coiffure is devoted to refining his craft — both as a DJ and live performer, delivering captivating, transportive sets, and as a producer, where his inventiveness and attention to detail resonate strongly with his listeners.
MatildnzWitten
With a fascination for all things bass & breaks, matildnz likes to play whatever tickles her brain, touches her soul or gets her body moving — preferably all at once. Aiming to create more spaces for unique electronic sounds, the DJ, designer and digital artist has been involved in the local music scene for quite some time now, organizing events as part of IVORY as well as curating the online radio station beton.fm.
MauziusWuppertal
Wuppertal-based artist and head of the Ballett label – crafts immersive, deep-textured soundscapes that blur the lines between dub-infused techno and ambient minimalism. His sets are shaped by warm, grainy rhythms, atmospheric grooves, and an earthy sonic palette that feels both grounded and expansive. Rooted in classic dub aesthetics yet forward-thinking in execution, Mauzius merges analog warmth with precise electronic detail. The result is a sound that is organically fluid yet tightly structured — creating intimate moments between sound and movement. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Mauzius curates a dynamic and deeply engaging journey, marked by subtle shifts, hypnotic patterns, and a tactile sense of depth.
