Influenced by early Detroit techno and Berlin dub techno, drum'n'bass and IDM, the Berghain resident likes to break the frame as a producer & DJ. Coupled with fast and razor-sharp multi-deck mixing, he continues to develop his DJ sets with forward thrust and pursues the goal of a unity-creating experience on the floor. His productions and sets are united by a constant lookout for groove, flow, reduction and repetition and follow the urge to surrender oneself solely to the music.

DJ and producer Marcel Dettmann is recognized as one of the most influential proponents of contemporary techno. Widely associated with iconic places – Berlin, Berghain and Hard Wax – Dettmann stays true to his roots by consistently innovating his interpretation of electronic music, integrating art with the scene. Active since the mid 90’s, Dettmann quests tirelessly for new ways and inspiration to further develop his own concept of electronic music. His labels MDR (Marcel Dettmann Records) and Bad Manners serve as a platform upon which to shape his musical vision, and through its releases launch new talent onto the techno scene. As a curator and producer, Dettmann fosters the call to create in a way which is equally timeless and innovative. His own releases comprise three albums on Ostgut Ton and, most recently, his first album in ten years, Fear of Programming, via Dekmantel Records. Outside of the club context, Marcel Dettmann has established himself as a multi-faceted artist. He designed the sound concept for New Works, an exhibition of photographer Frederike von Rauch, contributed to the contemporary dance project Masse – together with Frank Wiedemann and choreographer Nadja Saidakowa in cooperation with Berghain and the Berlin State Ballet. His single “Seduction feat. Emika” provided the soundtrack to director and screenwriter Parker Ellerman’s short film of the same name. He further has contributed to the soundtrack of The Matrix Resurrections by Lana Wachowski in 2021.

Frau Beji aims to create a sense of connection and community through her music, providing an unforgettable experience. Her North African heritage plays an important role in her music. By combining her roots with modern sounds, she creates a unique musical vision. Through her music, she aims to build bridges between cultures and bring people together.

D[Nowhere]J is a unique voice in South Africa’s Gqom scene, channeling the energy of their culture into music that bridges worlds and connects people. Their performances have taken them around the globe, gracing stages from Rome and Istanbul to Berlin, Oslo, Manchester, and Amsterdam, where they leave a lasting impression on audiences and venues alike. In 2024, D[Nowhere]J debuted with Iyaphila, a track that quickly gained recognition, securing the cover of Spotify’s Gqom Power House playlist. This release encapsulates their style—bold, raw, and emotionally resonant—melding Durban’s gritty Gqom sound with Soweto’s unbreakable spirit. D[Nowhere]J is a storyteller, using music to explore themes of connection and self-discovery. Each beat invites listeners into a shared celebration of life, dissolving differences and emphasizing our shared humanity on the dance floor.

Piccell is a DJ, producer, and the founder of Barulho, a collective pushing Afro-electronic music and local club culture in Germany. His sound blends AfroTech, Gqom, Kuduro, and Hardgroove, fueled by live elements and his signature MPC. With deep roots in Angola and Germany, Piccell’s sets and productions reflect a unique cultural fusion. Through Barulho, he’s building a label and creating spaces for artists and audiences to connect, while redefining what the local scene can be.
